I shamelessly stole these questions from another user.
Subject to change.
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Roughly 5'7, very willowy build. Overall kind of skinny-fat (the pasta has to go somewhere, so he's got a bit of a gut and also a very soft behind). Long limbs.
2. How old is he?
Physically about 19-20, chronologically ...super duper old. Like, 2,000+.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He only has good posture when he's trying to impress someone, otherwise he slouches a bunch. When he really tries he can carry himself very upright, but it's uncommon.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
If pushed, he can do a lot, but he's just very very lazy. He's in good swimming shape since it's one of two types of exercise he'll actually do in his free time (the other is running, occasionally). Needs more PT. If the economy is super bad or he's just under the weather he can get shortness of breath, most likely from the acqua alta (it doesn't affect him much otherwise, he's more than just Venice now).
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Usually he's fluid, but if he's overexcited or upset he gets a lot more clumsy and expansive with his movements. And he's always moving. Always. Bouncing a knee or waving his hands or chewing on the inside of his mouth or something.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
Honestly? He thinks he's the cutest thing since sliced bread. Occasionally worries he's not muscular enough, but when he wants to be he can be decently charming.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Tan complexion, very sunny and cheerful. Mostly clear skin, he doesn't have visible scarring when he's clothed and the rest are pretty old and faded.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Chestnut brown, very soft and curly, well taken care of. Nice and glossy.
9. What color are his eyes?
Also brown.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
By far his most conventionally attractive physical feature is his legs. All that retreating has given him some quite shapely calves.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
He's not a very tense person. Most likely his neck, because he sleeps oddly a lot.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Casually, he dresses like a college student. He likes having clothes that fit, though, and he quite cheerily crossdresses if the mood strikes him. On official business he can pull off a suit very well. Lots of bright colors, lots of soft fabric for casual wear.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
He hates wearing things that don't fit right, besides sleepwear and sweaters/hoodies, which he prefers on the larger side. If it fits, he's comfortable and it shows.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
In his spare time he doesn't wear suits; he also doesn't crossdress on the job since the government people are not likely to take it well.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxers. Nice soft ones. Briefs feel a bit constricting sometimes and commando makes him worry he'll get something stuck in the zipper.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
He's a high tenor/low alto, and can manage a countertenor. Nice rounded voice, very chirpy.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He's got a pretty loud voice, and he can talk so fast almost nobody can understand him if he gets going.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He's got a Venetian accent when he speaks Italian, and an Italian accent in everything else, and it's not a surprise. The "ve" is a sort of verbal static in high-stress or high-speed situations, and he's kind of a sing-songy talker.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Fluent in most Italian dialects, near fluent in French and Spanish, pretty good German and English, and really really basic beginner-level Greek. He can fake Church Latin extremely well but can't go off-script. He also knows how to introduce himself in a lot of languages but not much beyond that.
He used to know a lot more, though.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
All the time. With humans, he tries to accommodate them, but if he gets emotional he's liable to lapse into Italian, and if it's serious he can go all the way back into Venetian. With nations it's English or nation-ese.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He'll talk about anything, but whether he makes a coherent point is up for debate.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
He rambles and goes on tangents and gets distracted and in general he'll only reach eloquence if he writes a speech and edits it and memorizes it which happens...rarely, to say the least.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
The relationship with Romano is one of those we-dig-at-each-other-constantly-but-I'm-the-only-one-allowed sort. He can call Romano a dick. Nobody else. They're very close as nations go. The other Italian city states are sometimes distant with him, since he's the youngest not counting Seborga and they don't quite think it's fair that he gets to represent the nation, but everyone shows up for family dinner so there's still hope.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
If Greece and France count, then he's close, but he's still upset with France over the whole art theft thing.

He never ever ever skips meals if he can help it at all; not eating makes him cranky and miserable. He'll eat just about any food placed in front of him provided it's well prepared. He avoids most non-wine alcohols, though, since he can't hold them.
